Accident
Janette Lopez, 27, 217 E. Third St., Hennessey, was arrested for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident with damage April 21.
The accident occurred at about midnight at Main and Seventh Streets when Lopez pulled west out of the Love’s parking lot and made a left turn to travel south, then made an immediate lane change to the right to turn west on Seventh St., according to the police report.
A semi-truck owned by BJ Services and driven by Jeremy Moore, 61, Chandler, was southbound on Main Street when it was struck by Lopez. The truck ended up on the grass south of Main Street and hit a stop sign at the West Seventh and Main streets intersection.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
