Hennessey Town Board breaks ground on pool
Hennessey Board of Trustees, broke ground Monday morning on the town’s $2.1 million municipal pool. Carrothers Construction of Paola, Kan. won the bid and Cherie Worden, their project manager, said they expect to start work as soon as they receive final approval from the state. Some of the workers will be living in Hennessey during the construction which is to be completed by Memorial Day 2020. The site is across the street from the four school buildings and Carrothers said all steps will be taken to secure it.
