Annual town-wide clean-up starts Friday in Hennessey.

The Town of Hennessey’s annual town-wide cleanup starts Friday, April 26, and ends Sunday, May 5, said Tiffany Tillman, town administrator.

It includes free dumping at the transfer station on Cemetery Road when you present a recent water bill, she said.

That site will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.

Hennessey Public School students in grades 6-12 will be working with the town on clean-up Monday, April 29.

HHS seniors will work with Curtis Turner, public works director, on the Pat Hennessey Park. That project won Hennessey United’s $4,000 Senior Leadership project.

Tillman said there will be no curbside pickups this year.
