By

Hennessey High School has announced its 2020 football homecoming court. It includes, pictured above, from left: front row, freshman representative Avery Vendetti, queen candidate Madi Vendetti, junior representative Juliana Macy, queen candidate Sol Tarango, queen candidate Lindsey Meek and sophomore representative Larissa Macy; and back row, senior king candidates Kaden Rapp, Jay Jech, Justin Nielson, Keigen Crites, Kaden Hawk, Casyn Lott and Kenny Simpson. Queen candidate Vanessa Alaniz is not pictured. On the right are the crown bearer, Hayes Hardison, and flower girl Piper Zielny. There are several events leading up to the homecoming game, which is Thursday, Oct. 15, when the Eagles play host to Chisholm at 7 p.m. A bonfire is 8 p.m. Wednesday in the south parking lot at Eagle Stadium. HHS athletes, band, cheer and student council will be treated to a meal by the Hennessey All-Sports Booster Club 7:30-8 p.m. in the parking lot between the Eagle Event Center and auditorium. After the bonfire, the Class of 2021 “Ring the Bell” will take place at the stadium. All are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing at both events. [Photos by Beth Curran]
