Erin Hopkins graduated May 11 from Southern Nazarene University with a degree in psychology.

The granddaughter of John and Gladys Hopkins of Kingfisher, Hopkins graduated with honors including Phi Delta Lambda, the international honor society of Nazarene colleges and universities; Sigma Alpha Pi, the national honor society of leadership and success; and Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology.

Hopkins also studied at the University of Florence in Italy and later was a mentor for a high school study abroad program.

Two weeks in Costa Rica is also part of her degree requirements.

Hopkins is the daughter of Kevin Hopkins of Federal Way, Wash., and Janell Hopkins of Oklahoma City.
