Chris and Linda Smith of Kingfisher announce the engagement and impending marriage of their son Tyler to Rachel House of Oklahoma City.

The prospective bridegroom lives in Yukon.

He is a Kingfisher High School graduate who later earned a degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

He’s currently an engineer for OG&E in Oklahoma City.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mark and Robyn House of Mustang.

She graduated from Mustang High School before earning a degree from Oklahoma State University as a certified therapeutic recreation specialist.

She is currently a therapist at the Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany.

The couple plans a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at The Chateau in Yukon. It will be followed by a reception that will include dinner and dancing.
