Kingfisher County Extension will host a class this week on making homemade donuts.

The class will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Extension Office.

Lindy Hoel, FCS Extension educator, will guide participants on how to make fried and baked donuts. Participants will learn:

• Different types and kinds of donuts

• How to prepare and make basic fried donuts

• How to make baked donuts

• Make and take home a sample of a fried and baked donut along with a cookbook.

This meeting has a registration of $5 to cover material costs and is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
