Sunday, Aug. 6 – High school Media Day at The Dome, 2-4 p.m. (Girls, 2 p.m.; Boys, 3 p.m.)

Tuesday, Aug. 8 – Meet the Teachers, 4-6 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 9 – Water Wars with Hennessey Firefighters, 6-8 p.m. All streets in Hennessey. Three pumper fire trucks will drive slowly, and firefighters will be ready to cool off kids. Or kids can help them get cooled off by throwing water balloons, or using their water guns or hoses. This event is also to remind kids, and parents, that school starts the next day.

Thursday, Aug. 10 – First day of school.

Sunday, Aug. 13 – Meet the Eagles, 5-8 p.m. at Football field: No entry fee. Everyone may attend. 5 p.m. food trucks; 6 p.m. team introductions, freshmen and new students will get their yard signs, band and cheer performances, seniors vs. coaches on obstacle course.
