Humphries celebrate 50th anniversary
Jerry and Carolyn Humphries of Dover celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last Sunday.
A family dinner hosted by their children was held at the home of Jerry and Priya Humphries.
Jerry Humphries, the son of Carrol and Helen Humphries, and Carolyn McMillen, the daughter of AC and Melba McMillen, were married June 25, 1969, at Dover Christian Church.
The couple made residences in San Diego, Calif., Enid and Dover, where they currently reside.
Both retired, Jerry was most recently a diesel mechanic for Longhorn Companies in Hennessey. Carolyn was a cook for Dover Schools.
He spends his free time fishing while Carolyn enjoys gardening.
The couple have four children: Angie Kubat and husband Brian of Dover, Jerry Humphries and wife Priya of Dover; the late Patricia Humphries Yost and husband Randy of Kingfisher; and Garry Humphries of Dover. They also have seven grandchildren: Chris Kubat, Alyssa Kubat, Alex Woodring, Journee Humphries, Sadee Humphries, Tatum Humphries and Truett Humphries.
