Infant Crisis Services’ BabyMobile offering a drive-thru diaper distribution next week
The BabyMobile serves as a formula and diaper pantry on wheels.
It is the first of its kind in Oklahoma.
The goal is to break down the transportation barrier that prevents many families from receiving assistance.
Due to COVID-19, the BabyMobile will offer a drive-thru diaper distribution in the parking lot at Kingfisher Mercy Clinic (1000 Hospital Circle) on Tuesday, June 30.
The BabyMobile is first come, first served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No appointment is necessary.
The services are available to anyone with a child under the age of 4.
In order to keep ev eryone safe, families can remain in their vehicles.
Infant Crisis Services, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, provides the basic necessities to more than 18,000 babies and toddlers in central Oklahoma each year.
With the help of the community, Infant Crisis Services is able to supply formula and food as well as diapers and clothing for babies and toddlers in times of crisis.
Infant Crisis Services is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and serves clients by appointment.
