Chris Merideth, center, was the guest speaker of the Kingfi sher Rotary Club last week. Pictured with Kingfi sher Rotarians Darcy Jech and Jenny Nusz, Merideth is currently running as a Republican to be the next Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner. He told Rotarians and guests that insurance premiums have gotten out of hand in terms of ever-rising costs in Oklahoma and his opinion was that transparency and a common sense approach to dealing with the problems were key elements to bringing rates down. Nusz, an insurance agent in Kingfi sher, arranged for the presentation. Jech is also a Kingfi sher insurance company owner and agent, as well as Oklahoma’s state senator for this district.
