Kingfisher High School seniors Maddi Kamas and Nathan Smalley were announced recently as the January 2021 Junior Lions by members of the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Kamas is the daughter of Laremy and Pepper Kamas.

She’s active in golf and Student Council, among other activities.

While carrying a 4.0 GPA, Kamas serves as senior class vice president, was named December Student of the Month and received a KHS commendation medal.

Regarded as one of the top junior golfers in the state, Kamas has won several tournaments both in school competition and on various junior tours.

She has signed to play at Oklahoma City University where she will work toward an accounting business degree and potentially law school.

Smalley is the son of George and Audra Smalley.

He’s active in drama, vocal, tennis and served as the softball team manager.

Smalley was named to the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, is a member of the Drama Club, was named Drama Club king and has been named a KHS Student of the Month.

He plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and work toward a degree in contemporary music business.
