Brittney Hladik, right, and Blair Coughlan, left, of the Kingfisher Community Collaborative, were the guest speakers of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last Tuesday. They are pictured with Kingfi sher Rotarian Darcy Reherman, who arranged for the presentation. The Kingfi sher Community Collaborative is a volunteer organization which hosts several events that help people in need in Kingfisher County. Such events include the Santa’s Toyland golf scramble scheduled for July 12 at the Kingfisher Golf Course. Money raised in that tournament will benefit local families this Christmas. The KCC is funded through donations and Hladik and Coughlan said volunteers are always welcome to help with projects which also include the Compassion Clinic held the second Monday of each month at the First Baptist Church ConNEXTion on 13th Street.
