KCF grant cycle now open
The Kingfisher Community Fund (KCF) announced recently the opening of its 2021 Grant Cycle benefiting the Kingfisher community.
KCF seeks to fund projects and organizations that enhance the quality of life in Kingfisher.
It is managed by the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma and is governed by a board of directors representing the area.
All gifts made are tax-deductible.
“Because of the generosity of the Kingfisher community, we are able to continue to give back in time of need,” said Sheryl Eberhardt, Kingfisher Community Fund board
“Through our grant process, we want to focus on awarding funds to projects and programs that serve the basic needs of our residents and b enefit our community. We look forward to seeing how we can help these vital organizations and projects further the mission and spirit of Kingfisher.”
Originally established in 1993 as the Kingfisher Community Trust, KCF serves as a channel for the distribution of funds from donors to Kingfisher organizations that provide vital services to the community.
Originated by donors who want to improve life in Kingfisher, KCF reviews requests annually and awards grants to fulfill unmet local needs.
