KHS boys state champs recognized at state Capitol

By

Local legislators recently recognized a pair of state championship teams from Kingfisher High School on both the House and Senate floors at the state Capitol. The boys basketball team was honored Thursday, April 11, by House Majority Leader Mike Sanders in the House and Darcy Jech and Chuck Hall in the Senate. “The Jackets had an amazing season capped by winning the state title,” Sanders said. “Coach Reese and his staff did an incredible job with these student-athletes. They need to be commended. I’m proud of what these young men have accomplished over the last few years.
