Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for March 2019. Selected by the teachers were freshman Jesus Lupercio, sophomore Cora Taylor, junior Jentry Squires and senior Stone Snodgrass.

Lupercio is the son of Jesus Lupercio and Lenor Lupercio. He is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society. He recently placed third in World History at the scholastic meet at SWOSU.

Taylor is the daughter of Kevin and Beth Taylor. She is an active member of FFA, KHS drama and student council. She is a high school baseball manager and enjoys singing.

Taylor is also a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society and was a member of the national champion ag issues forum team at the National FFA Convention.

Squires is the daughter of Mark and Jona Squires.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and student council.

She currently serves as Kingfisher FFA chapter secretary as well as junior class vice president. She is active in the Kingfisher First Baptist Church youth group, National Junior Swine Association and American Farmers and Ranchers.

As an active FFA member, Squires was a national champion in Agriscience in 2016, Conduct of Chapters Meeting CDE in 2017, and Livestock Evaluation CDE in 2018. In 2017, Squires was the reserve overall premier exhibitor at the World Pork Expo and the champion intermediate swine showman at OYE.

In 2019, Squires was the AFR Ag Achievement Contest winner at OYE and she exhibited the Bronze Medallion crossbred barrow at OYE.

Snodgrass is the son of Mark and Angie Snodgrass.

He is active in KHS football, wrestling, track and drama. He is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Snodgrass has received the Distinguished Achievement Medal, is a Class of 2019 valedictorian and has been named Student of the Month all four years of high school.

He was a football captain, wrestling king, junior class king and drama king.
