KHS names November Students of the Month
Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for November 2020.
Students are chosen based on several characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and others.
Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Reid Witt, sophomore Taylor Mills, junior Rylie Farrar and senior Maddi Kamas.
Witt is the son of Wade and Kellee Witt.
He is listed on the superintendent’s honor roll and is an active member of the OEFC soccer league.
Witt is an avid outdoorsman and participates on the 4-H youth trap shoot team. He is also active in the First Baptist Church youth group.
Mills is the daughter of Brent Mills and Amber Mills Ballard.
She is listed on the superintendent’s honor roll and is a member of both the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society.
She was selected as the sophomore class queen and is currently serving as the sophomore class Student Council representative.
Mills is active in KHS softball, track and Student Council. She is also a Lifeway Kids volunteer and participates in the Lifeway Limitless youth group.
Farrar is the daughter of Tyler and Jacque Farrar and Jodie and Jeremy Blevins.
She is a member of both the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society. She is active in Kingfisher FFA and is a member of the KHS cheer
Kamas is the daughter of Laremy and Pepper Kamas.
She is a member of both the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.
She’s a member of the KHS girls golf team and has won numerous awards and honors throughout her golf career, including being named the 2019 OKC Preps Female Golfer of the Year and she is currently the top-ranked junior golfer in the state.
Kamas recently signed to continue her golf career at Oklahoma City University.
