KHS seeks new hall of fame nominations

By

Kingfisher High School is requesting nominations for the 2021 KHS Hall of Fame inductees.

Created in 1986 to honor the achievements of past graduates, the hall of fame will induct up to four new members each year, including either KHS graduates or administrators or faculty.

Honorees must have graduated at least five years prior to their selection or have taught at least five years prior to their selection.

A committee appointed by the KHS Student Council will determine membership in the hall of fame.

Only one former faculty member or administrator may be inducted each year.

Three former students may be selected each year.

Former students’ achievements after high school graduation will be the criteria for selection while former faculty members and administrators will be selected for contributions during service to the school district.

The announcement of the new hall of fame members will be made during the 2021 KHS graduation week.

Nominations may use a form available from Kingfisher High School along with a current resume, two letters of recommendations and any other information (newspaper or magazine articles, etc.) which would be helpful in the selection process.

Call Amy Pearson at the high school office at 375-4191 or email apearson@kingfisher.k12.ok.us with any questions.

The completed nominations are due in the KHS office by March 12, 2021.
