KHS senior Borelli pages for Sanders

By

Tyler Borelli, an 18-year-old senior at Kingfisher High School, paged for House Majority Leader Mike Sanders the week of Feb. 18-21, at the state Capitol. Borelli is the son of Greg and Vaynna Borelli. He has a GPA of 3.65 and plans to attend Oklahoma State University after high school, majoring in agribusiness. Borelli gives back to his community by serving as an elementary school teacher’s aide and as a Sunday school teacher. He enjoys watching football, farming, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, student council, the National Honor Society and school leadership. He is also a football player. House pages run messages to legislators while they are in the chamber debating policy and voting on measures. Pages also participate in a mock session, in which they learn legislative procedure and how to write legislation. “Tyler is a great young man with an incredibly bright future,” said Sanders, R-Kingfisher. “He worked hard this week and earned my respect as well as that of his fellow pages.” [Photo provided]
