Kingfisher’s Eaton selected OSU Senior of Significance
The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association has named 52 students as OSU Seniors of Significance for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Kingfisher High School alumnus Grant Eaton is among them.
The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU.
The 52 students represent the top 1 percent of the Class of 2021, including all five OSU undergraduate academic colleges.
The Alumni Association plans to honor the students in spring 2021.
Eaton is an agriculture education major.
He is slated to be a student-teacher at Altus in the spring before graduating in May 2021 and pursuing a teaching position.
Eaton graduated KHS in 2017.
While in Kingfisher FFA, he was a member of a national champion ag issues team, a national third-place meat judging team, a state champion parliamentary procedure team and was a class valedictorian among other honors.
He is the son of Jeremy and Jana Eaton.
