Montevino, one of the newest housing additions in Kingfisher, will host an open house 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at 803 Venice Court.

The neighborhood has garden homes and larger home plans that will accommodate houses beginning at a minimum of 1,700 square feet.

The 27-lot subdivision has a homeowners association, which maintains the lawns, common areas, greenbelt and the entryways into Montevino.

“This housing addition is designed for people who want a luxurious home that has a million-dollar look and quality without the million-dollar price tag and don’t need or want the maintenance of a huge yard. In today’s fast-paced life, many people fall into this category,” said Glenn Bodin, co-owner of Bodin-Roy Investments, LLC.

Houses under construction show off a French cottage southern-style charm with a brick and stucco appearance featuring three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage.

“You don’t see that much in Kingfisher,” said Bodin.
