Kingfisher’s Rena, Kenneth Tollison celebrating 45th wedding anniversary

Longtime Kingfisher residents Kenneth and Rena Tollison will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary this holiday weekend.

The couple were married July 5, 1975, in Yale and have lived in Kingfisher since 1984.

Kenneth was a pipeline locator for DCP Midstream before retiring in March 2014.

He also served as a senior chemical NCO for the 45th Infantry Brigade of the Army National Guard. He retired as a master sergeant in 2008.

Rena worked as a librarian at the Kingfisher Memorial Library before retiring at the end of December 2018.

The couple has three children: Eric Tollison and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City; Bryan Tollison and wife Nikkie of Kingfisher; and Amy Tollison of Kingfisher.

They also have 4 grandsons, Alex and Drakston Farrell, Jaykob Presley and Liam Tollison; one granddaughter, Eva Presley; and one great-granddaughter, Peyton Farrell.

A small gathering of family members will celebrate their anniversary Monday, July 6.
