Kingfisher 4-H donates to food pantry

By
Savana Reherman

The Kingfisher County 4-H Club gave a large food donation to the Jacket Food Pantry on Nov. 18 as part of its Citizenship & Community Development Project.

The 4-H kids spent October, National 4-H Month, gathering non-perishable food items to give to the program.

The Jacket Food Pantry was created to help families with students enrolled in the Kingfisher Public Schools System who are in need of food.

“There are many families in Kingfisher who just need a little extra help,” said Jennifer Marler, the school-based social worker.

If you would like to donate or need assistance, please contact Marler at 405-375-4080.
