The Kingfisher Altrua Club met Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Chisholm Trail Museum. Terri Peck served as hostess.
Taylor Stober, museum curator, told members about current new exhibits and others being planned.
She distributed flyers on the Child Labor in Oklahoma exhibit currently on display at the museum, which includes photographs by Lewis Hine from 1916-17.
Officers elected for the 2019-20 meeting year were Cheryl Wheelbarger, president; Jneanne Kadavy, vice president; and Dana Golbek, secretary-treasurer.
Peck gave the program on her trip to Greece this summer. Golbek also took the trip.
In addition to describing the many historical sites they visited, Peck told of safety procedures and ways to protect yourself while traveling.
Members present were Keri Bivins, Martha Burditt, Carolyn Flood, Jeanette Kloeppel, Julie Storm, Jowanna Sisk, Dorothy Whitaker, Golbek, Peck and Wheelbarger.
The club is a support group for the Chisholm Trail Museum and Seay Mansion as well as a sponsor of the art exhibit held at the Kingfisher County Fine Arts each year.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
The next meeting is 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the museum.
