Kingfisher Board of Education will vote on a proposed reopening plan Monday at its regular August meeting.
The vote is part of a brief agenda that will be covered beginning at 7 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.
The district released its plan last week, which includes beginning in-person instruction on Aug. 12.
The plan includes requiring face coverings in school buildings, with some flexibility and exceptions.
It also allows for in-person classroom instruction, full-time virtual instruction or a combination of the two.
The plan also covers daily screening, safety practices, allowance for virtual or distance learning days, electronic devices, attendance, school meals, transportation and extra-curricular activities/gatherings/field trips.
Board members will also vote on five hires: Custodian; I.T. assistant; kindergarten teacher; teacher’s assistant/boys junior high basketball assistant/boys soccer assistant; high school softball assistant/girls soccer assistant.
Also on the agenda will be the vote on renewing three various annual contracts, an out-of-state trip for students; various changes to board policy and a resolution to transcript computer, math and science classes taught at Chisholm Trail Technology Center.
