Kingfisher High School announces its December 2019 Students of the Month

Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for December 2019.

Selected by the teachers were freshman Alli Them-er, sophomore Brenden Hill, junior Aldo Muñoz and senior Wes Hine.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and other traits.

Themer is the daughter of Dennis and Tammy Themer. She is active in Kingfisher FFA, cross country, track, and student council and she is listed on the superintendent’s honor roll.

She received second place at state with her eighth grade exploration speech and she was a member of the FFA Conduct of Chapter meetings team that placed first at state and third at nationals.

She also plays the piano and is a member of the Nazarene Church youth group.

Hill is the son of Cory Hill and Karen Hill.

He has received the 4.0 Award, is on the superintendent’s honor roll and was a freshman Student of the Month also.

Hill is active in KHS jazz band, Drama Club, History Club and National Honor Society.

Muñoz is the son of Juan Muñoz and Lupita Muñoz.

He has earned perfect attendance and Student of the Month. Muñoz is active in KHS jazz band, soccer and National Honor Society.

Hine is the son of Randy and Laura Hine.

He is active in KHS football, basketball, wrestling, track and fi eld, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Hine was a captain for the 2019 football team this year and was selected as fi rst-team all-district 3A-1, first-team Little All-City, and second-team All-State.

He carries a 4.0 GPA and has been named Academic All-State for boys track and fi eld.
