Mercy Hospital Kingfisher will begin restricting visitors on campus due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma.

As a result of these trends, visitors will be lim-ited to protect patients and co-workers.

The following changes were effective Nov. 25, 2020:

Adult patients will not be allowed to have visitors anywhere on campus. A few exceptions are listed below:

• Visitors will be allowed for patients needing extra caregiver support including translation services, physical assistance and patients with an altered mental status;

• Pediatric patients in the Emergency Department willbe allowed to have a parent or guardian with them.

Visitor screening will continue at all Mercy locations, masks are required at all times and the hospital continues to urge good hand hygiene and social distancing.
