Kingfisher PD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
June 30 - Identity theft. Officers Justin Trumbley and Aaron Schlegel took three reports of identity theft.
Those filing reports of identity theft were: Brandon McCurdy, Melissa Mecklenburg and Kara Kraus.
All reports were regarding fraudulent unemployment claims.
July 1 - Identity theft. Officer Travis Gray took a report of identity theft.
Sasha Alexander reportedly stated a known individual had used his identifying information to obtain services from Cox cable. Alexander stated the cable company is attempting to collect $1,300 in unpaid bills from him and his credit score has been affected, according to the report.
July 6 - Identity theft. Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of identity theft from Karin Shafer.
Shafer reportedly stated she received a letter regarding an unemployment claim and two debit cards were included. She stated the claim was fraudulent and requested the debit cards be destroyed, according to the report.
July 8 - Harassment. Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of harassment in the 200 block of South Main Street.
July 12 - Interruption, disruption, or interference with emergency telephone call and domestic abuse, assault and battery.
Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of North First Street.
Officer Ryan Gibson as sisted with the investigation.
