The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

September 29 - Warrant, unlawful possession of controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of paraphernalia. — Officer Aubrey Massey said in his report that he observed a known 49-yearold male riding an electric bike in the area of South Ninth Street and West Sheridan Avenue and was advised by dispatch that the suspect had an outstanding warrant. According to the report, the suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant and a search of his person produced three baggies of what appeared to be methamphetamine and a glass meth pipe. A sample from one of the baggies was field tested for methamphetamine and produced a positive result, the report said. The suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel assisted with the investigation.

October 2 - Burglary- first degree, malicious injury to property- over $1,000 and disturbing the peace. — Lieutenant Justin Trumbley responded to a report of an individual causing a disturbance in the 600 block of South Main Street. According to the report, a 27-year-old female admitted to breaking the front door at her mother and stepfather’s residence after a dispute. Trumbley said in his report that the suspect broke both the inner and outer door and broke the threshold by leaning into the residence and yelling at the occupants. The suspect was placed under arrest for first degree burglary, malicious injury to property and disturbing the peace and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center. The damage was estimated to be approximately $1,500, the report said. Captain Dustin Brodrick assisted with the investigation.

October 2 - Public intoxication. — Officer Steven Renbarger responded to a report of an alleged assault and an individual lying in the roadway in the area of 800 South Third Street. According to the report, a 39-year-old male was “passed out” in the road with a female standing next to him. The female reportedly stated that the suspect was an unwanted individual at a nearby residence and, after becoming hostile and refusing to leave, a male resident punched the suspect in the face and dragged him into the street. Renbarger said in his report that the suspect appeared to be heavily intoxicated and Kingfisher EMS transported him to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher where he was cleared for incarceration and released. The suspect, who also had an outstanding warrant in Blaine County, was then transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center, the report said. Officer Jarred Tech assisted with the investigation.

October 4 - Malicious injury/destruction of property and assault and battery. — Officer Steven Renbarger took a report from a male and female regarding an incident that took place on Oct. 1 in which a 39-yearold suspect was arrested for public intoxication. According to the report, the male stated he had been in an altercation with the suspect during the Oct. 1 incident when he exhibited hostile behavior toward him and he wanted to press charges against the suspect. The female reportedly stated that her vehicle was damaged during the altercation and also wanted to press charges against the suspect. 

October 6 - Harassment. — Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a report of harassment at Briscoe Sports Complex. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel assisted with the investigation.

October 6 - Assault and battery and planning or threatening a violent act. — Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of an altercation in the 900 block of South 12th Street. According to the report, two male suspects were questioned about the incident and one was transported by Kingfisher EMS to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for evaluation of his head injuries. Sergeant Justin Conner and Officer Aubrey Massey assisted with the investigation.
