Kingfisher Police Department investigates accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
December 28, 11:15 a.m. - At 902 S. 13th St. Myra Jones, 68, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Lincoln, was southbound in the outside lane of South 13th Street.
According to the report, the Jones vehicle departed the roadway to the right and struck a street sign and two mailboxes, an electric utility pole and another mailbox before returning to the roadway.
Functional damage was reported to the Jones vehicle and the electrical pole was snapped off at ground level, the report said.
No injuries were reported.

December 31, 11:41 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.
Calvin Dhonde, 35, Dover, driving a 2005 Nissan, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 near the intersection of Will Rogers Drive.
Gary Reid, 84, Kingfisher, driving a 2010 Buick, was exiting McDonald’s on the east side.
The Reid vehicle attempted to make a right turn onto U.S. 81 and collided with the Dhonde vehicle. The Dhonde vehicle rolled one time and came to rest upright.
The driver of the Dhonde vehicle sustained possible leg injuries and two passengers sustained possible head, trunk and leg injuries.
All occupants of the Dhonde vehicle were transported to Mercy Hospital OKC by Kingfisher EMS, where they were treated and released.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.

January 2, 12:17 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and West Fay Avenue. Glen McIntyre, 73, Kingfisher, driving a 2002 Buick, was northbound on U.S. 81 and stopped in the inside lane waiting to make a left turn onto West Fay Avenue.
Donna Duffy, 68, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and struck the McIntyre vehicle in the rear, according to the report.
Alayna Casto, 19, Kingfisher, driving a 2012 Chevrolet, was northbound on U.S. 81 directly behind the Duffy vehicle. The Casto vehicle struck the Duffy vehicle in the rear, the report said.
Functional damage was reported to the McIntyre and Casto vehicles and minor damage to the Duffy vehicle.
McIntyre sustained possible trunk injuries, but indicated that he had been experiencing back pain prior to the accident, the report said. Officer Dillon Chaloupek investigated the accident.
January 3, 7:18 a.m. - At Mitchell Drive and Frontage Road. Latanya Wilson-Hunter, 38, Oklahoma City, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, was southbound on Frontage Road. The Wilson-Hunter vehicle struck a pipe fence where Frontage Road comes to an end. Disabling damage was reported to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

January 11, 7:00 a.m. - At West Chisholm Drive and South Oak Street. Terri Crum, 49, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Chevrolet, was eastbound on West Chisholm Drive.
The Crum vehicle struck a 2017 Nissan, owned by Amber Ramer, Kingfisher, which was parked in a westward direction on the south side of Chisholm, according to the report.
Minor damage was reported to the passenger side of both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

January 11, 12:00 p.m. - At 2110 S. Main St. Jacquetta Koehn, 67, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 Honda Accord, exited the parking lot at 2110 S. Main St. and attempted to make a left turn onto northbound U.S. 81.
Joan Stone, 68, Okarche, driving a 2014 Ford, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Koehn vehicle failed to yield to the oncoming Stone vehicle. The Stone vehicle then struck the rear driver’s side of the Koehn vehicle, the report said.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
