Kingfisher Police Department report
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following report:
October 21 - Forgery. Officer Justin Conner took a report regarding bank fraud. According to the report, Laynette Harrison, Kingfisher, provided Conner with copies of two fraudulent checks written on her NBC bank account. Harrison reportedly stated the checks were printed with her account number but the name on the check belonged to another individual. Conner determined the identity of the individual to be a 19-year-old Piedmont woman based on her driver’s license number. Conner contacted the Piedmont police department and requested they make contact with the individual. Conner reported he later received a phone call from the individual’s mother and she stated her daughter’s purse and wallet had been stolen in Bethany and a report was made with the Bethany police department. Conner contacted the Bethany police department and provided them with the information he had obtained concerning the fraudulent checks.
