Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
Feb. 3, 5:30 p.m. — Officer Charles Trout responded to a possible intoxicated person at the residence of 506 N. First Street. A 33 year-old Okarche woman was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the Kingfisher County Jail.
Feb. 5, 9 p.m. — Sgt. Dustin Brodrick was dispatched to Double D’s, 701 N. Main, regarding a stolen wallet.
Feb. 8 - Capt. David Catron took a report from Erik Padilla of Kingfisher, who stated that his father’s black 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 megacab pickup truck had been stolen while parked in the street across from his business overnight. Also taken was a black 24-foot tandem axle trailer which was hooked up to the truck. The truck is valued at $10,000 while the tailer is $4,500.
Feb. 8 - Officer Justin Trumbley took a report from Charlene Mapes of Kingfisher concerning the possible theft of Mapes’ gold and diamond ring, which she has not seen since Thanksgiving. The ring, appraised at $5,300, is described as a ladies’ 14k yellow gold diamond ring set with one diamond weighing .76 cts of G-H-I color, round brilliant cut, vs clarity and eight diamonds weighing 1.49 cts. total, H-I color round brilliant cut, I clarity.
Feb. 11 — Sgt. Brodrick took a report concerning a violation of a protective order.
Feb. 12 — Sgt. Dustin Brodrick took a report from a woman concerning harassment from her ex-husband.
Feb. 14, 4:24 p.m. — Officer Jason East responded to the InterBank drive-through location, 1209 S. Main, where a woman was reportedly smoking out of a glass pipe in a vehicle at the drive through banking window. As the officer approached, he observed a female in the passenger seat, holding a glass pipe in one hand, and, in the other hand, a lit lighter under the bowl of the pipe. The woman, a 40 year-old Oklahoma City resident, was removed from the vehicle and field tests were performed on the paraphernalia. Results were positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
The woman was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia, and was transported to the Kingfisher County Jail. The driver of the vehicle, a 65 year-old Hennessey man, was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Latimer County.
Feb. 14 — Officer Justin Conner was advised of a reckless driver traveling northbound into Kingfisher. A reporting party advised that the vehicle had struck a traffic cone or two (in the construction zone) and was driving slowly and swerving.
The officer located the suspect vehicle and followed it as it entered a residential area and made several turns. After observing improper behavior, a traffic stop was conducted on Thompson Drive at Chisholm Drive. The driver, a 51 year-old Kingfisher woman, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after she allegedly told the officer she had consumed six or seven 16-ounce beers.
Feb. 15, 2:10 p.m. — Officers were dispatched to Walmart, 200 W. Starlite, in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, they met with store representatives and the suspect, a 30 year-old Enid woman who allegedly admitted that she had changed some price tags on a few items.
The report states that the suspect swapped out three $1.68 price tags and one $1.44 tag on a $19.97 pair of Wrangler jeans, a $9.96 three-piece skillet set, a $17.58 package of Food Saver seal bags, and a $14.97 Stacker pre-workout.
The store rep advised that the suspect also made two separate returns while in the store, with security footage showing her concealing a $9.64 Avia t-shirt, an $8.97 pack of paint and a $12.88 Antenna t-shirt. She returned them, receiving $23.83 in cash and $9.64 on a gift card.
The subject was placed under arrest for shoplifting and obtaining merchandise by false pretense, and transported to the Kingfisher County Jail. She was additionally charged with trespassing, as she had previously been barred from all Walmart properties for the same offenses.
Feb. 16, 4:14 p.m. — Officer Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of a reckless driver, with the suspect vehicle being located at Jacket Express, 1609 S. Main. Upon arrival, officers located the driver, a 29 year-old Kingfisher woman, in a state of intoxication. She was ultimately placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence, transporting an open container, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported and booked into the Kingfisher County Jail.
Feb. 17, 7:56 p.m. — Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a domestic assault and battery in the 200 Block of E. Erwin Avenue.
Feb. 22, 4 p.m. — Officer Justin Trumbley took a report from a resident who stated their fence had been vandalized at 1314 S. 12th. The subject said she noticed a couple of kids behind her fence and confronted them but they would not give their names. Several random lines were found painted on the fence with purple paint, and four paintings had been stenciled on. Damage was estimated at $500.
Feb. 24 — Officer Justin Trumbley was dispatched to 704 W. Fay in reference to vandalism. The victim, Kingfisher County Deputy Sheriff Todd Davis, showed the officer where his private vehicle, as well as his patrol vehicle and another vehicle had all been egged during the night. A liquid, which he believed was some kind of oil, had been poured on his front porch. Davis then stated that his neighbor’s Chevrolet Suburban had also been egged. Davis was able to provide the officer with names of possible suspects.
