Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
October 23 - Public intoxication. Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of a man possibly having a seizure in the Mc-Donald’s parking lot, 1600 S. Main St. Upon arrival, Conner stated in his report, he made contact with a 36-year-old male in a vehicle who appeared to be sweating profusely. Conner was informed that the Okarche Police Department had made contact with the man earlier in the day for an incident at a local gas station and they reportedly indicated the man had been sweating profusely and acting strange at the time. Conner stated in his report, based upon his observation, the man was possibly under the infl uence of methamphetamine. According to the report, upon further investigation, the man admitted to using cocaine and marijuana recently, as well as using methamphetamine earlier that day. Kingfisher Emergency Services (EMS) evaluated the man at the scene and determined he should be evaluated further at the hospital. The man was transported to Mercy Hospital Kingfi sher for evaluation and medically released. Conner placed the man under arrest for public intoxication and transported him to the county jail. Officers Aaron Schlegel and Jason East assisted with the investigation.
October 27 - Public intoxication. Officer Charles Trout responded to a call for assistance from Offi cers Broden Carls and Dillon Chaloupek at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive., in regards to an uncooperative suspect. Trout stated Carls informed him that the suspect was non-compliant and behaving erratically. The 34-year-old male suspect reportedly stated he had used methamphetamine two days prior and had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and was experiencing a breakdown. Kingfisher Emergency Services was assisting with the call and transported the suspect to the hospital for evaluation upon his request. The suspect was evaluated and medically released from the hospital. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the county jail.
October 27 - Burglary-second degree. Officer Broden Carls took a report of stolen property in the 800 block of South Third Street. Hector Saucedo, Kingfisher, reportedly stated he discovered a refrigerator missing from a shed on his property on Oct. 22, but did not report it to the police at the time. According to the report, Saucedo stated no one is currently living on the property and on Oct. 27 he noticed an A/C window unit missing from the north window of the home. Estimated value of the refrigerator is $400 and $500 for the A/C unit.
October 27 - Larceny of service station gasoline-pump piracy. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of a gasoline theft from Stop-N-Go, 1005 S. Main St. The witness obtained a description of the vehicle, the tag number, and a description of the vehicle’s occupants, the report said.
October 28 - Burglary-second degree (auto). Offi cer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report regarding stolen property in the 900 block of Lucinda Lane. Taylor Clayton, Kingfisher, reportedly stated a Diamond bow and fi ve arrows were missing from her vehicle and presumed to have been stolen between Oct. 25 and Oct 27. Brodrick contacted Sheriff Dennis Banther, who entered the bow’s identifying information into the pawn shop system. Brodrick also spoke with neighbors to attempt to recover any surveillance system video of the theft.
