Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
April 13 - Harassment. Officer Charles Trout took a report of harassment and stalking.
April 14 - Burglary-second degree (automobile). Officer Dillon Chaloupek took a report of burglary in the 400 block of West Broadway. Larry Munoz reportedly stated his vehicle was parked at K&A Auto for about two weeks while it was being repaired and he recently discovered some items were missing from the vehicle. According to the report, Munoz stated items missing from the vehicle were a stereo, two speakers, two subwoofers and an amplifier with a total value of approximately $500. Munoz stated the mechanic shop owner was the only known person with access to the vehicle, according to the report. Chaloupek questioned the store owner about the missing items and he reportedly stated he was the only person with access and the vehicle remained locked when it was not being repaired. Chaloupek stated in his report that he advised Munoz to monitor online resale sites and that he would have the items entered as stolen into the pawn shop database.
April 15 - Domestic abuse, assault and battery. Officer Justin Conner responded to Kingfisher Park in reference to an assault.
April 16 - Malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Jason East took a report regarding a damaged window in the 100 block of North Fifth Street. Andrew Richardson reportedly stated a window at his residence appeared to have been shot with a BB gun. East took photographs of the damaged window as evidence.
April 16 - Burglary of vehicle, petit larceny, and receiving or concealing stolen property. Officer Charles Trout took a report regarding a stolen bicycle in the 800 block of South 6th Street. Ryan Case reportedly stated his son’s mountain bike was stolen from the front porch of his residence and he had video surveillance of the incident, which occurred on March 30. Trout stated in his report that he viewed the video footage and suspected the perpetrator to be a known 30-year-old male based upon previous contact with the individual. According to the report, Officer Justin Conner had recently made contact with the suspect regarding another alleged theft and Trout reviewed Conner’s body cam footage of the investigation. Trout said in his report he witnessed a bicycle and car stereo equipment on the video, which he suspected were stolen based on previous theft reports. Trout made contact with the suspect who was incarcerated in the county jail. According to the report, the suspect admitted to several thefts and gave Trout the location of multiple items. Trout and Officer Briston Lowry were able to recover bicycle parts, a car stereo, speakers and a jewelry box containing jewelry. Officers photographed the stolen items and seized them as evidence. Officers Jason East, Dillon Chaloupek and Justin Conner assisted with the investigation.
April 17 - Planning or threatening violent act. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report regarding a threatening phone call.
April 18 - Driving with license canceled/ suspended/revoked, public intoxication, transporting loaded firearm in motor vehicle and carrying firearms while under the influence. Officer Sam Ridenhour was dispatched in reference to a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on U.S. 81. According to the report, Ridenhour located the southbound vehicle stopped in the northbound lane of U.S. 81 at the intersection of S.H. 33. Ridenhour said in his report the 54-year-old male driver indicated he did not have a driver’s license and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Officer Briston Lowry assisted with the investigation and noticed two firearms in the vehicle, one in the front seat and the other in the back seat, according to the report. The driver was placed under arrest for public intoxication, driving without a valid driver’s license, transporting a loaded firearm and carrying firearms while under the influence and transported to the county jail. The vehicle was inventoried and impounded.
April 19 - Domestic abuse, assault and battery. Officer Briston Lowry responded to a report of an assault in the 1300 block of South 12th Place. Officer Sam Ridenhour assisted with the investigation.
