The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following:
March 11, 8:52 a.m. — Domestic dispute. Capt. David Catron was dispatched to the 200 Block of North First Street where a domestic assault had occurred.
March 11, 2 p.m. — Fraud. Lt. Travis Gray took a report by phone from a Christina Gross of Luther, who stated that her Visa debit/credit card was used to make a $98.55 purchase at CHS in Kingfisher on March 8.
Gross stated that she has never been to Kingfisher, nor does she know anyone from Kingfisher, or even which direction to travel to get from Luther to Kingfisher.
March 12 — Gas drive-off. Capt. David Catron was dispatched to Brick’s Corner Store, 723 W. Broadway in reference to a gas drive-off. The clerk there advised that a female came into the store to get a drink and prepay for gas, but the pump was already going. The female said she could not pay for it, but left her I.D. and $7.00 in cash.
After not being able to pay for the $25.95 in gas, the suspect got into a red Dodge Durango and left.
According to the I.D. left behind, the suspect is a 33 year-old Kingfisher woman. She was the passenger of the vehicle.
The vehicle’s driver was described as a black male, 5’6” with dreads, white shirt and red or black pants.
March 14, 2:15 p.m. — Domestic assault. Sgt. Justin Trumbley responded to the Law Office at 108 S. Eighth Street where a woman was waiting to give a report of a domestic assault.
March 14, 6:46 p.m. — Officer Jason East took a report of a violation of a protective order.
March 16, 12:22 a.m. — Public intoxication. Officer Justin Conner was dispatched to Main and Wyatt where a female was reportedly jumping up and down trying to get help.
The officer located the woman at Main and Erwin, and found her upset and crying, and he could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her person.
She indicated that she was intoxicated, had come from the RV park east of town, was trying to leave an abusive relationship and return to Oklahoma City.
She gave the officer her name and date of birth, but at the Kingfisher County Jail, it was discovered she had provided a false name, because she had warrants out of Oklahoma County.
The 28 year-old Oklahoma City woman, now accurately identified, was booked in and held for Oklahoma County.
Additional charges were added: obstructing an officer and false impersonation creating liability or benefit.
March 16, 2:26 a.m. — Warrant; possession of meth. Officer Justin Conner was in the Love’s convenience store, 201 S. Main, when he observed a 27 year-old man who he knew from a previous incident. He also knew the subject had an active Kingfisher County warrant.
As the subject left the store, the officer followed and made contact, asking if he had cleared up his warrant. As he had not, the officer then asked if the man had anything on his person he did not want to take into the jail.
The subject told the officer about his knife. When asked if he had anything else, he allegedly told the officer, “yes, a meth pipe.”
Officer Conner asked if that’s all the man had on him, and he said, “maybe a baggie too,” which the officer retrieved from the man’s front pants pocket.
The subject was placed under arrest for methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and transported across the street to the Kingfisher County Jail without incident.
March 16, 2:41 a.m. — DUI. Officer Sam Ridenhour was in Love’s convenience store when customers advised him that a man who had just left in a gray Toyota pickup was “drunk as a skunk.”
The officer went to locate the vehicle and, after finding it, conducted a traffic stop in the alley north of Bowman and west of Sixth Street behind the fire department.
As the officer approached the vehicle, he detected the fresh odor of cologne coming from the vehicle. The driver, a 39 year-old Kingfisher man, allegedly admitted to consuming four or five beers over a period of time. The officer subjected the man to a series of field sobriety tests, which he did not pass, and he was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was then transported to the Kingfisher County Jail.
March 18, 8:45 p.m. — Harassment. Officer Charles Trout was advised by a resident in the 600 Block of South Third Street that someone had just run up to his front door, knocked on it and ran off.
March 21, 5:49 p.m. — Domestic dispute. Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of South Sixth Street. A 20 year-old female was arrested at the scene for obstructing an officer.
