Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
May 7 - Identity theft. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of identity theft. Denise Payne reportedly stated that her employer had received a letter from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission regarding an unemployment claim filed using her Social Security number. Payne stated she had not filed for unemployment and the claim was fraudulent, according to the report.
May 7 - Domestic abuse assault and battery. Officer Justin Conner responded to a domestic altercation in the 800 block of South Third Street. Officers Aaron Schlegel and Jason East assisted with the investigation.
May 8 - Public intoxication. Officer Dillon Chaloupek responded to a report of panhandling and public intoxication at United Supermarket, 1215 S. Main St. Chaloupek was called to assist Officer Justin Conner regarding a 45-year-old male asking people for money outside United Supermarket and exhibiting signs of intoxication, according to the report. Chaloupek stated in his report that the man appeared to be intoxicated, and upon questioning, the subject admitted to drinking vodka he had in his pocket. The subject was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the county jail.
May 8 - Identity theft. Officer Justin Conner took a report of identity theft. Daniel Bivins reportedly stated his Social Security number was fraud ulently used for file for unemployment benefits.
May 8 - Identity theft. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of identity theft. Stephanie Harper reportedly stated her name and Social Security number had been used to file a fraudulent unemployment claim.
May 8 - Identity theft. Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of identity theft. Micah Daugherty reportedly stated her Social Security number had been used in an attempt to gain unemployment benefits. Daugherty stated she had not filed for unemployment and the claim was fraudulent, according to the report.
