The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

June 2 - Burglary-second degree. Officer Travis Gray responded to a report of a burglary in the 800 block of South Main Street. According to the report, an unknown white male entered an office in the 800 block of South Main Street and took a MacBook Pro 13. Officer Gray stated in his report that he collected the identifying information for the computer and two photos of the suspect and suspect’s vehicle. At the time of the report, Gray was awaiting surveillance video from the incident. The computer was valued at $2,000.

June 5 - Identity theft. Officers Justin Trumbley, Travis Gray, and Dustin Brodrick took seven reports of identity theft. Those filing reports of identity theft were: William Baustert, Shannon Tisdale, Michael Tautkus, Maggie Lumpkin, Stephanie Boyd-Kale, Jordan Smith and Travis Ridenhour. All reports were regarding fraudulent unemployment claims.

June 6 - DUI liquor or drugs and transporting an open container. Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of a reckless driver northbound on U.S. 81. According to the report, Hollon located the vehicle and witnessed the vehicle fail to maintain its lane after turning onto West Broadway Avenue. Hollon initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle and detected an odor of alcohol upon approaching the vehicle, the report said. The 22-year-old female driver appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication and was given field sobriety tests, which she was unable to successfully complete, according to the report. Hollon stated in his report that a half-empty can of beer was located in the vehicle and seized. The driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence and transporting an open container and transported to the county jail. Officer Sam Ridenhour assisted with the investigation.

June 7 - Public intoxication and domestic assault and battery. Officer Briston Lowry responded to a report of public intoxication and a domestic altercation in the 1200 block of Coleman Trail. Officer Sam Ridenhour assisted with the investigation.
