The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
June 16 - Identity theft. Officers Justin Trumbley, Justin Conner, Aaron Schlegel, Dillon Chaloupek and Travis Gray took 11 reports of identity theft. Those filing reports of identity theft were: Brad Pappe, Michael Atchley, Kolby Kramer, Shawn Kincheloe, Michael Chapman, Heather Wittrock, Charles Stewart, Deborah Swafford, Ashly Mathews, Angela Matthews and Lauren Waterhouse. All reports were regarding fraudulent unemployment claims.
June 18 - Public intoxication. Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of an intoxicated individual in the 900 block of South 10th Street. Conner stated in his report that he located a male subject who appeared to be intoxicated. Upon contact with the 45-year-old man, Conner detected the odor of alcoholic beverage on his person and witnessed other indicators of intoxication, the report said. The male subject was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the county jail.
June 19 - Theft of motor vehicle. Officer Justin Conner took a report regarding a stolen vehicle in the 1700 block of South Main Street. Shannen Yoder reportedly stated he parked a rental vehicle overnight at the Holiday Inn on South Main Street and it was missing the following morning. According to the report, Yoder contacted his friend who he suspected had taken the vehicle and the friend reportedly stated he would return the vehicle to the rental company, but the vehicle had not been returned. Conner entered the vehicle information into the National Crime Identication Center and followed up on leads regarding the location of the vehicle, but was unable to locate the vehicle, the report said.
