Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
June 11 - Obtain money/property with false negotiable paper.
Officer Travis Gray took a report regarding counterfeit money. The manager of Kingfisher KFC/Taco Bell reportedly stated a counterfeit $20 bill was received through the drive-thru window the previous evening.
June 11 - Planning or threatening violent act. Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of threats against employees at United Supermarket.
The manager reportedly stated an ex-employee entered the store and made threatening remarks to employees.
Conner stated in his report that he went to the subject’s resi dence and informed the 19-year-old female that the store manager has banned her from entering the store.
June 11 - Burglary of vehicle. Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of burglary in the 800 block of South 12th Street.
Chris Patton reportedly stated a known 35-year-old male came to his residence and Patton asked him to leave. Shortly thereafter Patton discovered the individual rummaging through his vehicle and the subject ran when Patton confronted him, the report said.
According to the report, Patton stated he didn’t notice anything missing from the vehicle.
Officer Briston Lowry assisted with the investigation.
June 12 - Theft of motor vehicle. Officer Travis Gray took a report regarding the theft of a vehicle in the 200 block of South Fifth Street.
Brett Weyrick reportedly stated he noticed his 2005 Nissan Sentra was missing the morning of June 12. Weyrick stated his son informed him that he heard the vehicle leave the residence around midnight, but didn’t mention it until morning, according to the report.
Officers conducted a grid search of Kingfisher, but were unable to locate the vehicle and the vehicle identification was entered into the National Crime Identification Center.
June 13 - Planning or threatening violent act. Officer Dillon Chaloupek took a report regarding alleged threats made at Love’s Country Store at 203 S. Main and at another location in Kingfisher.
An employee of Love’s reportedly stated a known 25-year-old male threatened him because he would not ask another cashier to complete the individual’s transaction. The employee also stated the man threatened him later in the day at a different location, according to the report.
Officers spoke with the suspect regarding the incidents.
June 14 - Petit larceny. Officer Justin Conner took a report of theft at the Holiday Inn at 1708 S. Main St.
According to the report, Joseph Soudek and Shannen Yoder stated a 39-year-old female stole clothes, cell phones, wallets and another item from their hotel room.
Conner stated in his report that he contacted the woman and she admitted to taking one of the men’s clothes, hat and cell phone, but didn’t take anything else. She said that she would return the items, according to the report.
Conner contacted the men and informed them they could pick up their belongings at the police department when the suspect returned them, the report said.
At the time of the report, Conner had not received the stolen items.
June 15 - Malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Travis Gray responded to a report of burglary in the 500 block of East Broadway.
Tiffany Blackbear reportedly stated she was in her bathroom when a window was broken and someone tried to grab a bed sheet and pull it through the window.
Gray examined the scene and took photographs of the area.
June 15 - Identity theft. Officers Justin Trumbley and Justin Conner took seven reports of identity theft. Those filing reports of identity theft were: Brothers Stone Fabrication, Edward Evey, Danny Green, Samuel McPherson, Connie Hackett, Jackie Sternberger and Cori Hamm.
All reports were regarding fraudulent unemployment claims.
