Kingfisher Police Department reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

July 16 - Domestic abuse by strangulation. Officer Briston Lowry responded to a domestic altercation in the 500 block of East Broadway Avenue.

Officers Ryan Gibson and Charles Trout assisted with the investigation.

July 18 - Larceny-auto, aircraft or other motor vehicle. Officer Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of theft in the 1000 block of Benjamin Drive.

Alex Emerson reportedly stated a 2018 Polaris Ranger was missing from his barn. At approximately 7 a.m., Emerson discovered the gates to his property open, his horses out and the ATV missing, according to the report.

Schlegel stated in his report that he contacted neighbors in an attempt to locate any video surveillance of the incident and entered the identifying information into the National Crime Information Center.

The Polaris Ranger was valued at $9,000.
