The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

July 16 - Harassment and malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of property damage and possible harassment in the 500 block of South Eighth Street. Trout took photographs of a slashed tire on a vehicle at the residence and was informed of a possible suspect by the residents, according to the report. Officers Dillon Chaloupek and Justin Conner assisted with the investigation.

July 22 - Burglary-first degree. Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of theft in the 1200 block of Ridgecrest Drive. According to the report, According to the report, a witness stated she saw a man take a bike from her neighbor’s garage and gave a description to officers of the man, who was last seen walking eastbound on Overstreet Avenue. Officers located the suspect outside of a residence in 100 block of North Eighth Street, according to the report. Trout stated in his report that officers discovered a bike in the alley behind the residence matching the description of the stolen bike and a Walmart bag containing other items. Officers reviewed surveillance video in the area and witnessed the suspect riding the stolen bike, the report said. The 18-year-old male suspect was placed under arrest for burglary and transported to the county jail. Officers photographed Officers photographed the bike and items in the Walmart bag and collected them as evidence. The owner of the bicycle verified that it belonged to him and had been removed from his garage, according to the report. Officers Dillon Chaloupek, Aaron Schlegel and Deputy Todd Davis assisted with the investigation.
