Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
August 2 - Acts resulting in gross injury and eluding a police officer. Officer Brandon Chapman responded to a report of indecent exposure in the 500 block of North First Street. According to the report, a resident stated a woman at a neighboring residence was outside with exposed breasts and refused to put a shirt on. Chapman and Officer Charles Trout made contact with the 41-yearold woman and she agreed to put a shirt on, the report said. After returning to the police department, officers determined the woman was in violation of her bond release, which states she must reside with her mother, according to the report. Chapman stated in his report that he and Trout returned to the woman’s residence and attempted to make contact with her, but she refused to come out of the residence. Chapman and Trout determined they would take the suspect into custody at a later time for violation of bond release, as well as new charges of outraging public decency and eluding police officers, according to the report.
August 3 - Larceny of lost property. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of theft at Braum’s, 1615 S. Main St. Goldie Baker reportedly stated she had accidentally left her wallet at Braum’s and when she retrieved it from management the following morning, approximately $450 was missing. Trumbley stated in his report that he contacted the Braum’s manager and they reviewed the surveillance video of the incident. According to the report, a manager can be seen taking the wallet to be placed in the safe, when another manager takes the wallet and steps out of the video for a moment and then the wallet is placed in the safe. Trumbley made contact with the 23-year-old male suspect and he reportedly admitted to taking the cash from the wallet, but stated he had not spent any of it, according to the report. The suspect returned $268, which he stated was all the money he had taken, the report said.
August 6 - Public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and prisoner placing bodily fluid on government employee. Officer Brandon Chapman stated in his report that he was on patrol in the 500 block of East Robberts Avenue, when he witnessed a male individual in the roadway. According to the report, the subject was behaving erratically and informed Chapman and Officer Trout that he had two needles in his back pocket. Officers seized the needles, a black rag, lighter, cigarette and comb and placed the 29-year-old male subject under arrest for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report. Chapman stated in his report that the suspect was taken to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher to receive medical clearance for incarceration and was transported to county jail. According to the report, the subject was uncooperative during the booking process and at one point spit saliva into the face and eye of Officer Ryan Gibson. An additional charge of prisoner placing bodily fluid on government employee was added. Officer Briston Lowry assisted with the investigation.
