Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
August 21 - Petit larceny. Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of theft in the 1200 block of Curran Avenue.
Lea Ann Nowlin reportedly stated a Joe Biden political sign had been removed from the flowerbed at her residence.
According to the report, Nowlin provided Brodrick with photographs and video of the suspect removing the sign.
The reported value of the sign was $50.
September 2 - Burglary-second degree. Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of theft from 1708 S. Main St.
Charles Danial reportedly stated on August 29, a .22 semi-automatic pistol was stolen from his vehicle, which was parked in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot.
According to the report, Danial stated the hotel staff reviewed surveillance video, but were unable to witness anything concerning the incident.
Brodrick entered the firearm’s identifying information into the National Crime Information Center, the report said.
September 3 - Larceny of lost property. Officer Aaron Schlegel took a report of theft at Tony’s Fast Fuel, 100 W. Mitchell Blvd.
Jose Garcia reportedly stated he discovered his wallet was missing after leaving the convenience store and food truck.
According to the report, Garcia returned in an attempt to locate his wallet and a witness stated she saw it in the parking lot and a man took the wallet claiming it belonged to him.
Schlegel stated in his report that he spoke with convenience store employees about the incident and obtained video surveillance of the incident.
September 4 - DUI-liquor or drugs, possession of dangerous drugs-marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs prohibited.
Officer Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of female driver possibly under the influence of drugs at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.
According to the report, a 57-year-old female had been searching for her vehicle in the parking lot and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Schlegel made contact with female, who had located her vehicle and was attempting to leave, the report said.
Schlegel said in his report he performed field sobriety tests on the driver and placed the subject under arrest for suspicion of actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence.
During inventory of the vehicle, according to the report, Officers Jason East and Dillon Chaloupek discovered marijuana and drugs.
The subject was transported to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher to obtain a blood test and medical clearance for incarceration, according to the report.
After obtaining medical clearance, the female subject was transported to the county jail.
Officers Travis Gray, Justin Trumbley, Brandon Chapman and OHP Trooper Kevin Edsall assisted with the investigation.
