Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
October 21 - Unlawful possession of a firearm by felon, carrying firearms while under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of dangerous drugs prohibited-marijuana and leaving the scene of accident-damaged fixture.
Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of a vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at McDonald’s, 1600 S. Main St.
According to the report, two witnesses stated a maroon GMC truck struck the southeast corner of the building and the southeast entrance guardrail, left the scene southbound on U.S. 81 and came to a stop at 100 Mitchell Blvd.
Officers arrived on the scene and Officer Aaron Schlegel made contact with the driver who exhibited signs of intoxication, the report said.
Officer Charles Trout said in his report that officers witnessed red paint transfer on the vehicle and it appeared to be leaking fluid from the engine.
According to the report, Trout administered field sobriety tests on the 40-yearold male driver and placed him under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and seized two marijuana plants, a glass smoking pipe, a .40 caliber handgun and a 15-round magazine, according to the report.
Officers Justin Conner, Dillon Chaloupek, Ryan Gibson and Briston Lowry assisted with the investigation.
October 23 - Domestic abuse assault and battery and possible marijuana possession.
Officer Briston Lowry responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 1100 block of South 12th Street.
