Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
October 20 - Frauds, cheats, false pretenses, and false personations over $1,000. Officer Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of South Fifth Street.
David Little reportedly stated he had allowed a known 32-year-old male to attempt to sell his 2006 Jeep for $1,400. The individual lefthis 2004 Chevrolet truck with Little as collateral and a signed bill of sale to Little in the event he did not return the Jeep, the report said.
According to the report, Little stated the individual did not return the Jeep and had taken possession of the Chevrolet truck.
The suspect returned the truck later that evening Little said, but removed it again on Oct. 25, according to the report.
October 27 - Theft. Officer Brandon Chapman responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of North Second Street.
Brady Maschino reportedly stated at approximately noon he discovered his Craftsman 5000 watt generator was missing from his residence.
Chapman entered the generator’s identifying information into the National Crime Information Center.
The generator was valued at $649.
October 29 - Domestic abuse assault and battery and bringing or possessing contraband in jail or penal institution. Officer Briston Lowry responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 800 block of South Third Street.
Officers Justin Conner, Charles Trout, Dillon Chaloupek and Matthew Hollon assisted with the investigation.
October 30 - Burglary-second degree (automobile). Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of West Bowman Avenue.
Tyler Young reportedly stated he witnessed three known individuals walking through the front yard of his residence the previous evening and discovered multiple items missing from his vehicle the following morning.
According to the report, the missing items included two cell phones, wallet, insurance card, paperwork and keys. The reported total value of the items was $250.
November 1 - Malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of damage to mailboxes in the 600 block of South Sixth Street.
According to the report, Connie Graves stated that two mailboxes at a neighboring residence had been damaged and she suspected the damage was caused by a vehicle.
Trout stated in his report that he examined the mailboxes and area surrounding them for evidence and witnessed some paint transfer on one mailbox post.
Trout also took photographs of the damaged mailboxes, according to the report.
The damage was estimated at $40 for each mailbox.
November 1 - Burglary-second degree (coin op machine). OfficerJustin Conner was dispatched to Sudz and Co., 1209 S. Main St. in reference to a burglary alarm.
According to the report, Conner discovered a broken lock on the door and the internal mechanism removed from the change machine.
Conner made contact with the owner and photographed the evidence, the report said.
The reported value of the coin mechanism was $1,500.
