The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

December 7 - Burglary-second degree. — Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of burglary in the 300 block of South 10th Street. James Maxwell reportedly stated on Saturday, Dec. 5, he and other people had been at the residence to remove items that had been left by the previous tenant. According to the report, when Maxwell returned to the property on Monday, Dec. 7, he noticed some items in the residence had been moved and discovered multiple items were missing. Missing items included a Dewalt impact driver and sockets, Dewalt drill and bits, four Dewalt 12V batteries and $110 in cash, as well as a candle and air freshener, the report said. The total reported value of the missing items was $470.

December 8 - Injuring or molesting automobiles prohibited, fail to identify giving false/fictitious information. — Officer Brandon Chapman responded to a report of vandalism in the 1000 block of Kings Drive. Jenna Johnson reportedly stated while she and another individual were sitting in her parked vehicle, a neighbor threw something at the vehicle. According to the report, Chapman and Officer Charles Trout made contact with the neighbor regarding the incident. The 52-yearold female stated she threw soup on the victim’s car because she was upset about the car being repeatedly parked on the street across from her driveway, the report said. Officers photographed a substance on the rear and along the driver’s side on the vehicle, according to the report. Chapman also noted in his report that the vehicle was legally parked along the street and the distance of the vehicle from the suspect’s driveway was also legal. Officer Sam Ridenhour assisted with the investigation.

December 9 - Theft. — Officer Justin Trumbley responded to a report of theft in the 700 block of South Seventh Street. Mark Kness reportedly stated a package he had ordered from Amazon was missing. According to the report, Kness contacted the post office and confirmed that it had been delivered to his address on Nov. 28. Trumbley stated in his report that Kness also informed him of a suspicious vehicle parked in the neighborhood recently.

December 10 - Larceny/burglary of CDS. — Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of theft at Cimarron Nursing Center, 905 Beall Road. Upon arrival, Brodrick made contact with the Di-rector of Nursing Jill Vincent who reportedly stated medication was missing from the medication room. According to the report, Vincent said an accurate count of medication was recorded at shift change the previous night by the medication aide in charge. A recently terminated employee returned to collect her belongings and requested keys to the medication room, according to the report. The medication aide reportedly stated she allowed the former employee to take the keys and the keys were not returned to her directly, but left on a counter. When the medication aide returned to the medication room to retrieve patients’ medication, she noticed medication was missing, the report said. According to the report, Vincent stated personal property of employees should not be located in the medication room and only the medication aide would need access to the room. The reported missing medications were controlled dangerous substances and included 120 Percocet and 120 Norco pills.

December 12 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer. — Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of theft at Atwoods, 1213 S. Main St. According to the report, an employee stated a customer purchased two drinks with a $100 bill, left his change on the counter and took the drinks to another individual in a vehicle. The suspect then returned to the store, picked up a crossbow from the firearms section and asked if he could show it to the individual in the vehicle, according to the report. The cashier reportedly allowed the customer to take the crossbow out of the store and witnessed the individual get in the vehicle and flee with the merchandise. According to the report, the cashier took video of the vehicle as it left the scene, but the license plate number was illegible. Officer Hollon made contact with the manager the following day and obtained surveillance footage of the incident. The reported value of the crossbow was approximately $900.
