Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
January 10 - Unauthorized use of credit/ debit card. Officer Matthew Hollon took a report of credit card fraud from Robert Wolf.
Wolf reportedly stated he was at his farm on Jan. 8 when his vehicle stopped running and he requested a tow through the roadside assistance program provided by his vehicle insurance policy.
According to the report, Wolf spoke with a dispatcher at the roadside assistance company and provided his credit card information to cover his portion of the tow.
On Jan. 10, Wolf stated that he received a notification that items had been charged to his credit card in the amount of $427.59 at a Sam’s Club, the report said. Wolf reported that he contacted the credit card company and the charges were blocked and the balance was returned to his credit card, according to the report.
Hollon stated in his report that he contacted the insurance company, as well as the roadside assistance company, but was unable to obtain information related to the fraudulent charge made on the credit card.
January 14 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.
Officer Ryan Gibson responded to a report of an altercation in the 1100 block of South 12th Street.
Officer Briston Lowry assisted with the investigation.
January 17 - Disorderly conduct, planning or threatening violent act and resisting arrest search or transport.
Officer Brandon Chapman responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of South Sixth Street.
Officer Matthew Hollon assisted with the investigation.
January 18 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer.
Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of theft at Walker Tire, 1607 S. Main St.
An employee reportedly stated when he arrived for work the door was locked, but he noticed some of the tires were not in their place and discovered four tires were missing.
According to the report, Captain Travis Gray and the employee checked the interior of the business for an entry point where an individual might have gained access to the building, but did not find any.
After officers left the scene, Brodrick stated in his report that officers were called back to observe a possible entry point where tin was unscrewed and pulled back from the exterior of the building.
The reported total value of the four tires was $1,000.
Officer Quinton Cline contacted a neighboring business regarding possible surveillance video of the incident.
January 19 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse.
Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of a possible altercation between two occupants of a vehicle in the vicinity of Will Rogers Drive traveling southbound on U.S. 81.
According to the report, Brodrick and Officer Quinton Cline proceeded southbound on U.S. 81 in search of the vehicle and notified the Okarche Police Department regarding the incident and provided a vehicle description.
Okarche Police Chief Forrest Smith located and stopped the vehicle and Brodrick and Cline assisted with the investigation.
January 22 - Domestic abuse committed in the presence of a child and child endangerment.
Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of an altercation in the 2400 block of South 15th St.
Officers Jason East, Matthew Hollon and Dillon Chaloupek assisted with the investigation.
