Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
April 26 - Theft. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of theft in the 200 block of E. Miles Avenue.
According to the report, Erik Stutts stated his motorcycle tag was stolen, but was unsure at what location it had been removed. Trumbley entered the stolen tag number into the National Crime Information Center.
April 28 - Unlawfully entering private residence. Officer Tyler Girten responded to a report of an attempted break-in in the 600 block of South Third Street.
A female resident reportedly stated a male suspect knocked on her door and after speaking with him, he attempted to push his way into the residence. The resident was able to shut the door and the suspect left the residence, the report said.
Girten said in his report that while he was talking with the resident, the possible suspect’s vehicle was observed traveling eastbound on East Bowman.
Officer Jason East initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle and confirmed the suspect matched the description given by the resident, according to the report.
The 45-year-old male suspect reportedly admitted to knocking on the resident’s door and speaking with her, but denied attempting to enter the residence.
