Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
October 3 - Burglary/second degree (auto). Officer Charles Trout took a report regarding stolen electronics from a vehicle in the 200 block of West Miles Avenue. A 36-year-old man reported a laptop and two wifi hot-spot routers missing from a vehicle belonging to his mother. According to the report, the missing items were loaned to the man’s children through Epic Charter School. Trout contacted the school and obtained serial numbers and identifying information for the missing electronics and entered the information into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
October 8 - Malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Justin Conner took a report concerning vandalism to a vehicle in the parking lot of Boomarang Diner, 217 S. Main St. The manager reportedly stated he witnessed an identified 18-year-old male standing on the hood of his vehicle, threatening to break his window if he came any closer. The subject then threw a rock, breaking the windshield of the vehicle, according to the manager’s statement. Estimated damage to the vehicle was $500.
October 9 - Harassment. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report from a 27-year-old woman regarding harassment. The woman reportedly stated she was riding her motorcycle on 10th Street and an identified 35-year-old female subject chased her in a Chevrolet Silverado.
October 11 - Domestic abuse/assault and battery. Officer Broden Carls responded to a report of possible domestic abuse in the 200 block of North Second Street. Officers Dillon Chaloupek and Charles Trout assisted with investigation.
October 11 - Assault. Officer Travis Gray took a report regarding an assault. The alleged incident occurred at the Senior Citizens Center, 201 S. 6th St. A man reportedly stated he was shoved against a vehicle by an identified 78-year-old male after asking the man not to drive on his lawn. According to the report, the man indicated two women in the vehicle were witnesses to the incident. Gray contacted the witnesses, took a statement from each, and examined the vehicle for damage.
October 15 - Unwanted person/property damage/ EMS call. Officer Sam Ridenhour responded to a report of an unwanted person and property damage at a residence in the 1000 block of South 12th Street. Officers Dillon Chaloupek and Justin Trumbley assisted with the investigation.
