The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following:

March 23, 6:35 a.m. — Marijuana cultivation. Officer Dillon Chaloupek and Sgt. Justin Trumbley responded to 800 S. Third Street, where they located a home containing an extensive set-up for the felonious cultivation of marijuana plants from seeds to maturity. Child endangerment was also an issue, which in connection with the cultivation, is also a felony.

March 25 — Burglary. Capt. David Catron responded to 1113 S. Eighth Street where he took a report of a burglary. The resident stated a number of items were missing from the home, including keys to a Ford Ranger, DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, spare key to the home, an x-Box game, a .22 cal. Derringer, personal checkbooks, an address book, and a title to a Ford Ranger pickup truck.
